Feria Afroantillana de Panamá 2015

Todos los años, el sábado y domingo de Carnaval, mientras muchos capitalinos viajan al interior y otros se mojan bajo el sol, el centro de convenciones Atlapa, sobre la via Cincuentenario, se llena de los olores y sabores de la cocina afroantillana.

El público acude vestido con trajes de inspiración afroantillana a disfrutar de los manjares y también de los espectáculos musicales de reggae, calipso y danzas folclóricas como los congos y bullarengue. En una amplia sección de Atlapa, se exhiben los puestos de artesanías con productos de todas partes del país.

Entre los platos más buscados están el bacalao, sea con arroz o en empanada, bebidas como el saril y panes como el bon.

Esta es la fiesta anual que celebra la cultura y tradiciones de los afrodescendientes panameños.
